Season For Treating Prairie Dogs

October 1^st through March 15^th is the season for treating Prairie Dogs. We have had complaints about Prairie Dogs on land and they need to be attended to during this time frame. The County will be able to sell the Prairie Dog Bait Rozol. You can elect to treat the Prairie Dogs yourself or the Noxious Weed Department can treat them for you at an added cost. If you know of land that has a Prairie Dog infestation, please call the Noxious Weed Department at 785-798-3349.
